Doris Faye Kirk was born April 24, 1950 in Guys, TN, the daughter of the late Jobie and Vonnie Dee Robertson James.
Doris was united in marriage to Carl Edward Kirk on February 3, 1968. Mr. Kirk preceded her in death on April 6, 2005. She enjoyed cross stitching, word searches and spending time with her granddaughter Hayle.
Doris departed this life on January 22, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 29 Days.
She is survived by a son, Randy Kirk and wife Rachelle of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Christy Kirk McCarty and husband Seth of Michie, TN; a granddaughter, Hayle VanCleave of Michie, TN; a sister, Donna Childers of Ramer, TN; four sisters-in-law: Betty Rickman of Ramer, TN, Lucille King, Naomi Roberts, and Leilla Ervin all of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde James; five sisters: Laverne Robertson, Dean Meeks, Linda Martin, Anita Butler, and Imogene Jarnigan.
