Doris Evelyn King

She was born and reared in the Woodville Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Otto Wayne and Lucindia Idell Armour Hatch. She attended Chester County Schools and in 1946 was married to Jimmie Dexter King. They made their home in Memphis and then Arlington for the past 39 years. She had worked in retail sales most of her life the last place being J. Peter Rabbits at the Belz Mall at Lakeland. She was a member of the Hickory White First Baptist Church.



She is survived by a daughter, Belinda Edlund and husband Mike of Mason; a brother, Odell Hatch and wife Fay of Henderson and a sister, Dottie Wiggins of Bolivar; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie King (2003), a daughter, Betty Jones (1998) her husband, (Lewis) and a son, Jimmie Wayne King (2007), and a brother, Mike Hatch (1994) his wife (Shirley).
