Doris Jibeaultwas born in Savannah, Tennessee on June 2, 1927 the daughter of the late James Blain and Gladys Stansell Martin.On December 28, 1993 she was united in marriage to William Jibeault, who survives.Mrs. Jibeault was a member of the Pickwick United Methodist Church, Pickwick Ladies' Investment Club, Pickwick Garden Club, Pickwick Dam Ladies, Pickwick Republican Women, DAR, and the Heritage Foundation. She had worked for Southwest Development as a grant writer, Agee and Associates as an accountant, and for Gericare as a home health service worker. She enjoyed golf, ceramics, painting, and China painting.Mrs. Jibeault departed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the age of 81 years, 10 months, 14 days.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jibeault is survived by a son, Jack Jackson and wife Debbie of Nashville, Tennessee; a daughter, Suzanne Jackson Thomas and husband Dr. Jim of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Marty Thomas, Todd Thomas, Julie Yocum, and Mary Susan Bennett; 6 great-grandchildren, Laurie Suzanne Thomas, McKinley Thomas, Grayson Thomas, Gannon Yocum, Jackson Bennett, and Mary Auburn Bennett.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Robinson.
