Doris Hipps

Doris Naylor Hipps was born April 7, 1949 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of Willie Buford Naylor and the late Bessie Moore Naylor. She was united in marriage to James L. Hipps on January 5, 1967.Doris was an X-Ray Technician and Medical Assistant for 28 1/2 years in the office of Dr. Harry Peeler. Prior to her employment with Dr. Peeler, she worked for McNairy County General Hospital. She was also a member of the Bethel Springs church of Christ. Doris departed this life on September 26, 2006 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 57 Years, 5 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, James L. Hipps of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two daughters: Amber L. Hill and husband Leonard of Selmer, Tennessee and Cherelle Sweeney and husband Chris of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; her father, Willie Buford Naylor and wife Dorotha of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; a sister, Jackie L. Davidson of Jackson, Tennessee; and three grandchildren: Ty and Darby Sweeney of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Olivia H. Hill of Selmer, Tennessee.
