Doris Jean English

Doris Jean English was born January 21, 1948 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Oliver Dickey and Tommie Jean Taylor Dickey. She loved working in her yard, as well as her flower beds. She loved camping, driving through the Smoky Mountains, and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Mrs. English departed this life on October 18, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 8 Months, 27 Days.

She is survived by her children: David Scott English and wife Elichia of El Dorado, AR, Sandra Kaye Nelson and husband Bobby of Jackson, TN, Gary Allen (Jay) English and wife Lisa of Michie, TN, Richard Chad English and wife Amber of Michie, TN; a brother, Terry Dickey and wife Helena of WA; a sister-in-law, Polly Garrett and husband Larry of Boonville, MS; fifteen grandchildren: David Andrew English, Dewayne Knight (Lois), Jessica Knight (Mark), Jason Knight, Lacie George, Dalton Nelson (Sarah), Kasey Nelson, Tyler Allen English (Caitlin), Logan Zane English, Jordan Renee English, Trenton Reed English, Jagger English, Chance English, Hayden English, Rhiannon English; and 21 great grandchildren.

In addition to parents, Mrs. English was preceded in death by her husband, Paul David English on December 4, 2007; and a brother, Donnie Earl Dickey.
