Doris Natica Mullins Coke was born May 10, 1920 in the daughter of the late Gilbert Albert and Flora Ann King Mullins.
On January 12, 1940, she was united in marriage to Johnnie Hurley Coke. Mr. Coke preceded her in death on May 13, 1975.
Mrs. Coke lived in a large number of cities during her married life and later traveled as she had always wanted to do after her husband passed away. However, McNairy county and Chewalla were always home to her and that is where she wanted to be laid to rest. Serving the Lord as a faithful member of the Minden church of Christ and her family were the priorties in her life. She will be missed.
Mrs. Coke departed this life on January 9, 2012 in at the age of 91 Years, 7 Months, 30 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Key Davis and husband Ben of Dallas, TX and Doris (Coke) Honea and husband Michael of Minden, LA; seven grandchildren, Neal Wayne Coke, Judy Coke Maruda and husband Mark, Cynthia Key Gibson and husband Ethan, Amy Key Curtis, James David Key Jr., John Michael Honea and wife Lindsey, and William Matthew Honea and wife Christy; ten great grandchildren, Payton Marudas, Tyler Marudas, Chad Marudas, Maxwell Gibson, Peter Gibson, Daniel Gibson, Kylei Honea, Savannah Honea, Caleb Curtis, and Luke Curtis.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Coke was preceded in death by a son, Albert Neal Coke.
