Doris Elaine Churchwell

Doris Elaine Churchwell of Clifton, TN was born September 23, 1944 in Perry Co., TN, the daughter of the late Johnny Marvin and Beulah Pauline Ray Churchwell. Ms Churchwell was a retired insurance agent and a member of the Eastern Star. She departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 9 Months, 19 Days.

She is survived by two sons, James Edward Bowling, Jr. of Clifton, TN, Billy Shane Bowling and wife, Tessa Nicole of Friendship, TN; two grandchildren, Avery Lamar Bowling and Audrianna Gabrielle Bowling; two great-grandchildren, Travis Speed and Alana Speed; a sister, Carrie Jeanette Likaits and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms Churchwell was preceded in death by a sister, Johnnie Marie Churchwell.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Eric Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery, Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Duke, Zaiden Osborn, Shane Bowling, James Bowling, Daniel Bannon and C. J. Bagget.
