Services for Donnie G. Copeland, age 66 of Collinwood, will be Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church with Earl Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery with Shackelford Funral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.A native of Wayne County, he was born January 27, 1944 the son of the late Wayne and Vertie Morris Copeland. Mr. Copeland departed this life Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Mr. Copeland was preceded in death by a son, Donny Gerald (Jake) Copeland; two sisters, Wanda Copeland and Gailda Swinford; brother, Aaron Copeland, and a brother-in-law Nuel Taylor. Mr. Copeland, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion, was formerly employed at General Motors and a farmer. He is survived by his wife Judy Bryant Copeland; three daughters, Angie Robbins and husband Jeremy, Amanda Peden and husband Anthony, and April Weems and husband Michael, Jr. 11 grandchildren, Katie, Sharlon, Morgan, Anna, Quinton, Dylan, Emma, Shannah, Brooklyn, Destiny, and Malorie all of Collinwood, TN; a brother, Anthral Copeland of Collinwood, TN; sister, Joyce Taylor of Chattanooga, TN and sister-in-law Melba Copeland of Collinwood, TN;
