Donna Elaine Montgomery was born May 30, 1958 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of the late Preston King and Lucille Kirk King. She departed this life on January 16, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 64 Years, 7 Months, 17 Days.
Donna graduated from McNairy Central High School class of 1976. She was united in marriage to David Montgomery on June 5, 1976. She was a member of the New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the McNairy County Republican Committee. Donna also worked as a teacher's aide in McNairy County for special education. She cared for many children over the years, but she mostly enjoyed chasing around her grandkids and attending their sporting events and activities.
She is survived by her husband David Montgomery of Selmer, TN; a son, Chad Montgomery and wife Julie of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Stacey Volner and husband Joey of Lexington, TN; three grandchildren: Madison Montgomery, Tyler Montgomery, and Mekenzi Volner; a sister, Wanda Crabb and husband Bobby; a brother, Tim King and wife Tammi; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Thomas Montgomery; a nephew Jason Crabb.
