Mrs. Donna Hibbitt was born March 24, 1953 in Chicago, IL the daughter of David and the late Allene Melton Tims. Mrs.Hibbitt departed this life on March 26, 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 55 Years, 2 Days.Services will be held on March 28, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson with Bro. Jimmy Bedwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Parkburg Cemetery at Pinson.
She is survived by her husband David Hibbitt of Pinson; a daughter, Christie Julian and husband Chris of Pinson, ; a son, Scottie Belew and wife Katie of Pinson, ; three sisters, Marcy Jaynes and husband Wayne of Lexington, Judy Farrell and husband Frank of Humboldt, Debbie Alexander and husband Buddy of Murfreesboro, five grandchildren, Dakota Roberts, Aleigh Brown, Harrison Belew, Aidian Belew, Mylee Belew; and a special aunt, Sally Hathcote of Henderson. In addition to her mother, Mrs.Hibbitt was preceded in death by grandparents Riley and Betsy Patterson and Clyde and Rosie Barnes.
Mrs. Hibbitt graduated from Huntington High School in 1971. She was married to David Hibbit in 1986. She was a child care provider for many years and later worked at K-Mart. She had made Pinson her home for the last several years. She was a member of the Pinson Baptist Church.
