DONALD R. NORRIS
Was born in Dice, Texas on February 28, 1938 the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Mary Bozeman Norris.
On February 12, 1955 he was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Maxine Simmons, who survives.
Mr. Norris was a welder. He was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church.
Mr. Norris departed this life on October 5, 2005 at his residence in Walnut Grove at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 7 days.
Other than his wife, Evelyn Maxine of Walnut Grove, he is survived by 5 sons, Robert Norris of Walnut Grove, Jerry Norris of Rowlett, Texas, James P. Norris of Caddo Mills, Texas, Richard Norris of Savannah and James R. Norris of Walnut Grove.
8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
4 sisters, Margaret Eason and Joy Smith, both of Dallas, Texas, Patsy Dalby of Edgewood, Texas and Peggy Fritz of Quitman, Texas.
2 brothers, Richard Norris of Desoto, Texas and Ray Upchurch of Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Norris was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Norris, one sister, Ruth Kramer and one brother, Arnold Norris.
