Henderson, TN: Donald Wayne "Butch" Lucas, age 65 passed away November 13, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Armorel, AR in Mississippi County,he was raised in Henderson, TN the son of the late R.B. (Robert) and Leona Kinchen Lucas.
He married Glenna Smith August 31, 1965. He lived in Chicago for a time and worked for Motorola and Pronto foods. He was a Vietnam Veteran, Army 1967- 1968. He later worked at East Chester Elementary School for several years after moving back to Henderson. He liked fishing and he loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy Lucas Fowler and Melanie Lucas Johnson both of Henderson; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers, Gerald Lucas (Berchie Ann) of Henderson, Paul Lucas (Marianne) of Henderson, Johnny Lucas of Dallas, TX and Steve Lucas of Franklin Park, IL; three sisters, Wanda Patterson, Linda Johnson (James) and Brenda Plunk all of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Lucas and Jimmy Lucas.
