DONALD LEIGHTON CLARK
was born in North Liberty, Indiana on February 6, 1930 the son of the late George and Hazel Steele Clark.
In 1961 he was united in marriage to Barbara Franklin, who preceded her husband in death on June 20, 1984. On January 1, 1993 he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina (Wilma) Drury, who preceded him in death on August 20, 2008.
Mr. Clark was a retired maintenance worker for Wheel-a-brator. He served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. Mr. Clark loved working on cars and lawn mowers. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Clark departed this life on September 19, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 13 days.
He is survived by his children, Cynthia Clark of Southbend, Indiana, Lynda Clark of Granger, Indiana, Michael DiCiaccia of Atlanta, Georgia, Dominic DiCiaccia of Missouri, Dean DiCiaccia of Temperence, Ohio, Mari Newsom of Niles, Michigan, Pam Pollard of Middlebury, Indiana, Marilyn Moore of Michigan and David Moore of Oklahoma.
7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
two sisters, Joyce Halt of North Liberty, Indiana, Lucy Claudio of Painsville, Ohio and two brothers, Keith Clark of North Liberty, Indiana and James Clark of North Manchester, Indiana
Mr. Clark is also survived by a special friend, Dorthie Lowe of Savannah, Tennessee
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Clark and Lloyd Clark
