Henderson: Dona Mae Dale Grantham, age 82, died Tuesday morning at Jackson General Hospital.
Mrs. Grantham was born and reared in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late George Wesley Roe and Elsie Mae Clifft Dale Roe. She attended schools in Madison County and later in Memphis. She married Lee Grantham in 1952 and they lived in Memphis for nine years and moved to Henderson in 1961 where Mr. Grantham worked with Eastside Service Station and Freed-Hardeman University. Mrs. Grantham was a homemaker and a member of the Henderson Church of Christ. Mr. Grantham preceded in death in 2002.
She is survived by two daughters; Karen Williams Leath and husband Doug of Lexington and Sandra Kay Ayers and husband Jason of Savannah, a brother James Roe of Hernando, MS and a sister Catherine Mohundro of Hickory Flatt, MS. She has two grandchildren; Joshua Clay Williams and wife Amber of Henderson and Julie Ann Williams Young and husband Dusty of Jackson and one great grandchild Jaxon Riley Young.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Wesley Roe and a sister Jean Rowland.
