Services for Don Howard Cole, age 90, of Waynesboro, TN were Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 3 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro with Malcolm George and Ronnie Pope officiating. Burial was in J. R. Cole Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. He was born May 14, 1918 in Wayne Co., Tennessee the son of the late Lee and Olive Moser Cole.He was united in marriage to Della McDonald on October 22, 1939. Mr. Cole was a retired factory worker at Genesco and was a member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Cole departed this life on June 19, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 1 Month, 5 Days.In addition to his parents, Mr. Cole was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Ellen (Graham) Graham. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Della (McDonald) Cole of Waynesboro, TN; two sons, Mr. Roger Don Cole and wife Gloria of Savannah, TN, Mr. Leon Cole and wife Jane of Florence, AL; 3 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchildren, 4 Step-Great-grandchildren
