Don Warner (Boo) Butler was born July 31, 1950 in Corinth, MS the son of the late William (W.C.) Clarence and Modean Bodiford Butler.
Although his given name was Don, he was called "Boo" by most everyone who knew him. At a very young age, Boo's parents were told he would never walk or play sports. His first step was at the age of 5...since then he never missed an opportunity - to prove that he could not only walk but play sports, he played softball from a young age into his early 40's. He was an achiever, a fighter, and more importantly an encourager. He had a great love and passion for the game of baseball. He spent many summers, days, and nights at the ballpark either playing the game himself or coaching young children. He coached Little League for many years and enjoyed sharing his love of baseball with all the children. His heart was bigger than the "Diamond" when it came to children.
Don worked for 23 years at General Electric in Selmer, TN. His hobbies were playing softball, coaching, and watching his favorite team, New York Yankees. He loved his two children; Michelle and Brandon and his grandchildren.
Mr. Butler departed this life on November 14, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 3 Months, 14 Days.
