Dollie Marie Vandiver

Dollie Marie Vandiver was born June 12, 1929 in Hardeman County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Cleveland and Nora Mathis Mills.She was united in marriage to Euries E. Vandiver on August 10, 1943. Mr. Vandiver preceded her in death on April 9, 1999.Ms. Vandiver was a homemaker and farmer . She was a member of the Curtis Hill Church of God Prophecy. She loved to piece quilts and work in her flowers.Ms. Vandiver departed this life on May 28, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 11 Months, 16 Days. She is survived by five daughters, Martha McMahan of Pocahantas, TN, Hazel Haynes of Bethel Springs, TN, Sarah Holmes and husband Gary of Henderson, TN, Janice Passalaqua and husband Pete of Newport, AR, Barbara Shankle of Hornsby, TN; two sons, Daniel Vandiver of Selmer, TN, Curtis Vandiver and wife Cathy of Hornsby, TN; thirteen grandchildren, Robert McMahan, Barry McMahan, Randy McMahan, Teresa Bone, Shay Griswell, Dewayne Pierce, Bobby Pierce, Beverly Bowen, Robert Vandiver, Vanessa Smith, Jenica Howard, Jacob Vandiver, Zachary Vandiver; six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Ms. Vandiver was preceded in death by a son, David Vandiver; a sister, Ola Mae Wiggins; a brother, Roy Lee Mills.
