D J Barrier

D J Barrier was born on March 12, 1952 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Bobby Dean and Mildred Della Scott Barrier.

D J worked on the towboat as an engineer and later worked for List 4 Less Realty. He enjoyed going shopping and loved finding a good deal. D J loved to talk and visit with people anywhere he went. He never met a stranger and always had a good story to tell. The greatest joy in his life was his grandbabies, Chelsea, Paityn, and Logan. He loved spending time with them every chance he could and he loved them so much.

D J Barrier departed this life on April 23, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 years, 1 month, and 12 days.

He is survived by his son, Brennan Barrier and his wife Lindsey; daughter, Cinnamon Barrier; grandchildren, Chelsea Barrier, Paityn Barrier, and Logan Barrier; brother, David Barrier; and sisters, Debra White and Kathy LaRue.

In addition to his parents, D J was preceded in death by his brothers, Dewey Lynn Barrier and Aaron Glenn Barrier and his sister, Bobbie Ann Swaffer.
