was born July 13, 1956, in Hardin County to John William Griffin and the late Edra Rebecca Griffin. She later lived in the Hookers Bend Community.
Diane received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and became a Kindergarten Teacher. While working for the Hardin County Board of Education, she achieved top salary pay and eventually retired from teaching at West Hardin Elementary School. She was a member of the Saltillo Church of Christ and the Hardin County Teacher's Association. She enjoyed walking and cooking.
Diane departed this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 13 days.
She is survived by her father, John William Griffin and a sister, Sandra Kay Griffin, both of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
