Finger, TN: Diana Marie Runion, age 74 passed away on Sept. 29, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born September 13, 1946 in Kankakee, Illinois at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Edward Robert and Elizabeth Jane Perry Gundlach. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Runion on April 8, 1967. They were never separate in their 53 years of marriage. They lived in Illinois, California and in Finger, Tennessee for the last 40 years.
Diana had been working at Serra of Jackson auto dealership for the past 5 years. Prior to this she worked for cardiologist Dr. Joseph Blankenship in Jackson for over 30 years.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Anthony Dennison.
Diana has seven surviving brothers and sisters and their families. Sisters include Gloria (husband Larry), Teresa (husband Brad) and Christina (husband Troy). Brothers include Dennis (wife Karen), Jeff (wife Mary), Gregory, and Timothy (wife Terri), and numerous nieces and nephews; and many neighbors and friends in Finger, Henderson and the Jackson area.
The funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson’s Crook Avenue Chapel with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Crook Ave from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM Friday.
