Mrs. Diana Coyle Lomax of Bolivar, Tennessee, departed this life at her home on Monday morning, December 30, 2019, the day after her 74th birthday.
Diana was born in Sweet Lips, Tennessee on Saturday, December 29, 1945 to the late Brodie and Pearl Busby Coyle. On Saturday, June 22, 1963, she was united in marriage to Mr. Tommy Lomax, who survives.
She had been a resident of Hardeman County since 1972 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar. Prior to retirement, she worked as a clerk in the Hardeman County Property Assessor's office. She enjoyed shopping, and was also involved in volunteering at nursing homes as well as Western Mental Health Institute.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Mrs. Lomax is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Frost of Bolivar; two sons, Greg Lomax (Perri) of Canton, Georgia, and Tracy Lomax (Jackie) of Nashville; five grandchildren, Taylor Wilson Lomax (Haley), Nate Lomax, Hanley Lomax, Braxdon Frost and Britney Frost Collins; three sisters, Golda Ruth Colbert of Henderson, Nelda Hamm (Wayne) of Cordova, and LaJona Brasher (Lanny) of Lexington; and one brother, Max Coyle of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Keith Lomax; and two sisters, Sue Johnson and Joyce Holland.
