Derrick worked for Kilburn Crome. He attended Bible Baptist Church and Love and Truth.
Derrick departed this life on August 14, 2006 at the McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 18 years, 6 months and 19 days.
He is survived by his father, William E. Pipes of Olive Hill, Tennessee.
2 brothers, Doug Pipes of Adamsville, Tennessee and David Pipes of Olive Hill, Tennessee.
2 sisters, Tammy Milligan of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Shelia White of Savannah, Tennessee.
Other than his mother, Derrick was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Daniel Pipes.
