Mr. Smith passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama.
A native of Hardeman County, he was born November 13, 1954 to the late Herman Henry Smith and Hazel Louise White Smith, lived most of his life here and 5 to 6 years in Alabama. Mr. Smith was a truck driver for Poole Trucking and a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, John Dennis Smith and Donald Wayne Smith, both of Cullman, AL; two sisters, Alma Terry and Faye Lester, both of Bolivar; two brothers, Wayne Smith of Hobart, IN and Don Smith of Martin; and three grandchildren, Allison Denise Smith, Dillon Gauge and Jonathan Victor Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Smith; and a sister, Levon White.
