Dennis Moore

Dennis Moore was born April 3, 1941 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Bluford and Mary Ruth McIntire Moore.

He was united in marriage to Kaye Brush on September 26, 1963.

Mr. Moore worked for Brown Shoe Company for ten years. Later in life, he would become the principal broker of his real estate company, Volunteer Realty. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Selmer. One of his greatest joys was his interactions with his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Moore departed this life on August 1, 2019 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 3 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kaye Moore of Selmer, TN; a sister, Carolyn Young of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Nelson Moore and wife Glenda of Selmer, TN; sisters-in-law, Judy McLean and husband Terrill, Gloria Brush; brothers-in-law, Max Brush and wife, Brenda, Jimmy Brush and wife Patty; nieces and nephews, Ricky Young and wife Sandy, Michael Moore, Dana Sanders and husband, Rob, Beth Ryan and husband Jake, Amanda Miller and husband Eric, Michelle Hannah and husband Jeff, Kevin Brush and wife Lori, Brian Brush and wife Brandi, Jennifer Nelson and husband Marc, Blake McLean and Caleb McLean; several great nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Jimmy Neal Young and Robby Brush; sister-in-law, Janice Bullman and husband Virgil; nieces, Debbie Hughes, Le Ann Knight, Elizabeth "Libby" Mclean; nephew, Jimmy Young.
