Henderson, TN: Dennis Keith Evans, age 62, passed away October 22, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born and reared in Hardeman County, the son of the late James Howard and Flossie Jane Pitts Evans. He went to school in Hardeman County and went into the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam as a river patrol boat Captain, serving more than four years. He rode motorcycles with the Vietnam Veterans and the Iron Horseman. He had been disabled for the past six years. He loved riding motorcycles before becoming disabled. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by a son Jeremy Evans of Henderson and a daughter, Kristin Evans Mayo of Finger and a stepson, Shane Burkeens of Henderson; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Lori Evans of Toone and Lisa Miller of Bethel Springs.
