Deloris Elaine Crumby

Deloris Elaine Read Crumbywas born in Council Grove, Kansas on September 3, 1934 the daughter of the late, James Dewey Read and Iva Dette Graham Read.On November 6, 1954 she was united in marriage to James Albert Crumby, Sr., who preceded her in death on November 22, 2006. Mrs. Crumby was a retired machine operator with Garan Manufacturing and a member of First Christian Church. She loved her family and enjoyed working puzzles and embroidering. She departed this life on June 1, 2007 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 29 days.Mrs. Crumby is survived by her children: Jama Crumby Hosea and her husband, Terry; James A. Crumby, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, and Joey Earl Crumby and his wife, Teresa, all of Savannah, Tennessee;seven grandchildren: Brad Hosea, Terra Hosea McLemore, Dixie Crumby Smith, Melanie Crumby, Jennifer Crumby, Bethany Crumby andBrittany Crumby;five great-grandchildren: Carter McLemore, Brayden McLemore,Haley Smith, Dustin Smith and Blake Smith;one sister, Beulah Arnett of Tulsa, Oklahoma and one brother, Edward Read of Prarie Grove, Arkansas.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: James Read and Earl Reed.
