Delma Ruth Harrell

Delma Ruth Hawkins Harrell was born February 26, 1921 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late A. B. and Allie Garvin Hawkins. She was united in marriage to Edward R. Harrell on September 10, 1955.Mrs. Harrell was a retired manager for the Greyhound Post House Restaurant in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she worked for 9 years. She was also a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer.Mrs. Harrell departed this life on September 4, 2006 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 6 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edward R. Harrell of Bartlett, Tennessee; two daughters: Nina Lortz and husband Richard of Bartlett and Martha Harrell of Southaven, Mississippi; a grandson, Christopher Kimble of Amarillo, Texas; a niece, Jackie Wardlow of Selmer; and four nephews: Donald Hawkins, Floyd Hawkins, Bill Hawkins and Jim Hawkins, all of Selmer.
