Funeral services for Dellie Dodd, age 86, of Collinwood, TN will be on Thursday, August 16, 2007, 3:00 pm Shackelford Chapel, Collinwood, TN with officiating. Interment following in Lindsey Chapel, Cloverdale, Ala; with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 15 from 11:00 am—9:00 pm and on Thursday, August 15 from 10:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home Collinwood, TN
Dellie Dodd a native of Wayne County, TN died on Monday, August, 13, 2007, at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro. She was born on May 12, 1921 in Cypress Inn, TN to the late Lary Dodd Vickery. Ms. Dellie was preceded in death by a son; Buddy Ralph Vickery; step father; James F. Vickery, Jr.; granddaughter; Christy Vickery Boyd and great grandson; Josh Vickery.
Dellie Dodd was a homemaker; a loving mother; grandmother; great grandmother; aunt; sister; and a friend to everyone. She enjoyed her family and friends get-togethers.
