Delia Ann Sanders

Mrs. Sanders passed away Friday afternoon in Memphis.



Mrs. Sanders was born in Benton County, Tennessee to the late William Patterson Allen and Susie Elizabeth Hopper Allen. She married Mr. Roy L. Sanders on August 10, 1962 and worked as a CNA at Pleasant View Healthcare in Bolivar. She attended Trinity Baptist Church in Bolivar and loved her grandchildren, sewing and sunflowers. Her family states that she "never met a stranger."



Survivors include her husband, Roy L. Sanders of Bolivar; a daughter, Debra Tibbs of Jackson; two sons, Randy L. Sanders of Hornsby and William H. Sanders of Bolivar; two sisters, Frances Allen of Brighton and Brenda Kay Clark of Memphis; two brothers, William Allen of Scotts Hill and Albert Allen of Parsons; a half-sister, Iva Lee Sieber of Hohenwald; six grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren; two special friends, Diane Beard and Rita Mendoza.



She was preceded in death by a half-brother, Herman Carpenter.
