Mrs. Bain was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late William Kent and Lula Mae Holder Sells. She attended Chester County schools and in 1932 was married to Carl M. Bain. They made their home in the Five Points Community of Madison County where they farmed. Mr. Bain died in 1989 and she continued to make her home at Five Points. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.She is survived by three son; Sonny Bain (Toni) of Medina, Ronald Bain (Helen) of Jackson, Jerry Bain (Shirley) of Henderson, and four daughters; Joyce Hart of Beech Bluff, Syble Holder (Wendell) of Jackson, Shirley Brien (Bobby) of Jackson, and Patricia Hodges (Ron) of Beech Bluff. She was preceded in death by a son Larry Bain in 1986.She has twenty grandchildren; Pam Holifield, Lisa Bailey, Terry Holder, Dwain Holder, Teresa Barnwell, Stacy Alexander, Starla Teague, Wanda Pevahouse, Buddy Brien, Troy Kilzer, II, Tosha Grissom, Tamara Hill, Todd Bain, Keith Bain, Carla Patey Click, Marsha Barclay, Shondra Johnson, Tonya Clayton, Greg Bain, and Twona Rowland. She also has forty four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.She is also survived by two brothers; John David Sells, and Bobby Sells and a sister Lona King all of Henderson. She was preceded in death by a brother Cleo Sells and a sister Lucille Bain.
