DELANA MAE DEMING COPELAND
Henderson, TN: Delana Mae Deming Copeland, age 93 passed away Monday September 2, 2013 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Bedford Forrest Deming, Sr. and Mayda Bea Melton Deming. She attended Chester County Schools. She was married to Howard C. Copeland in 1936. They made their home in Texas where Mr. Copeland worked in the oil fields. He died in 1980. She returned to Chester County to help take care of her mother. She had made her home in the Sugar Creek Community until 2008. Mrs. Copeland was a Baptist.
She is survived by a sister, Carmen Faye Hatch and husband Odell of Henderson; a brother, James Ray Deming of Los Angeles, CA and three sister-in-laws, June Deming, Dale Deming and Dot Dougan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard C. Copeland and two brothers, Charles M. Deming and B.F. Deming, Jr.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Henderson City Cemetery with Bro. Stacy McCollum officiating.
