Debra Sue Harris Cox

Debra Sue Harris Cox, 45 years of age, died early Sunday morning, May 1, 2005 at her home in Bolivar. She was the daughter of Mary Sue Harris and the late Emory Harris of Independence, Miss. Mrs. Cox was co-owner and manager of State-Wide Towing. She lived most of her life in Coldwater, Miss. and graduated from Independence High School there. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Chris Cox, whom she married December 7, 1991; two children, Jeremy Hunt of Bolivar and Jennifer Townsend of Middleton; a grandson, Joshua Townsend of Middleton; a brother, Dennis Harris; a niece, April Harris of Independence, Miss.; and in-laws, Billy Gene "Pop" and Joy Cox of Bolivar and Earline Cox, of Bolivar. The funeral service was held by her son, Jeremy Hunt and Pastor Duane Moore at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar on Tuesday, May 3,2005 at 1:00 pm. She was laid to rest at Hebron Cemetery near Middleton.
