DEBORAH “DEB” FINLEY
Enville, TN: Deborah “Deb” Finley, was born October 20, 1963, at Savannah, TN, to Mary Jo Hughes and the late Larry Hughes.
She was united in marriage to the love of her life Anthony “Harv” Finley who preceded her in death the same day her journey began battling a devastating disease of cancer. She fought it hard, so gracefully and dignified that it was astounding to those that knew and loved her.
Deb worked at Piggly Wiggly as a produce manager and co-owned Finley’s One Stop and owned and operated Finley’s Prop Shop and Boat Repair for twenty years.
She loved her many rides; black was her color of preference and should shine all the time. NASCAR, TN Vols, sunrises, ocean, back roads cruising, her paw girls, and her happy place on the river were the things that made her days sparkle along with her deep love for Mary that she mothered and her family.
Deb departed this life in the comfort of her home on November 14, 2022, at the age of 59 years and 25 days.
She is survived by her two paw girls, Sassy & Puddie Tat; her Mom Mary Jo Hughes of Milledgeville; three sisters, Lisa Finley (Jeff) of Enville, Penny Middleton (Mike) of Reagan and Dana Brasfield of Finger; her nieces and nephews, Cameron Finley, Whisper & Starr Middleton and a great nephew, Grayson Pratt.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a niece, Casey Pratt and a brother-in-law, David Brasfield.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday at Milledgeville United Methodist Church with Gene Hanna, Robert Conder and Jerry McCorkle officiating. Burial to follow at Milledgeville Cemetery.
