Debbie Turner, 56, passed from this life Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.

She was born Sunday, March 13, 1966, in Madison County, the daughter of Sarah Hooper of Toone and the late Gerald Hooper, who died in 2020, and lived all of her life in Hardeman County, across the road from her mother. She worked as a self-employed jewelry designer, operating "My Vintage Vanity". She also had worked for Hooper Lumber Company for 20+ years, and tallied the lumber. Her family states that she 'loved life within itself, putting everyone else above her, and loved to make everyone laugh." She was known to always have her last words said to anyone "I Love You". Debbie loved flowers and gardening, Christmas time, music, Church and her family. She was an active participant on the MDS page on facebook, encouraging all who were there struggling with the disease. She was a member of Cloverport Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Turner of Toone; daughter, Brooke Turner of Memphis; a sister, Angie Shearin (Denton) of Carrollton, KY; a brother, Steven Hooper (Rhonda) of Jackson; her mother, Sarah Hooper of Toone; several nieces and nephews, including Jessica Shearin, Haleigh Hooper, Houston Shearin and Grant Hooper. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to the Kirkland Cancer Center Foundation in Jackson, TN.
