Finger, TN: Debbie Vanease Terry Floyd, age 64, peacefully passed away January 31, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving children.
She was born February 22, 1957 in the Sweetlips Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Albert Fay and Virginia Elizabeth Johnson Terry. She went to school in Chester County and graduated in 1975. She was a loving mother to three children and four grandchildren.
Ms. Floyd is survived by a son, Timothy Smith of Finger, two daughters, Hollie Brunning (Barry Clayton) of Bethel Springs, TN and Meagan Blackmon (Brandon) of Dover, TN and four grandchildren, Evan Brunning, Kyra Brunning, Pierce Blackmon and Ellie Kate Blackmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Freddie Terry and Michael Ray Terry, a sister, Phyllis Garner and a life partner, Ronnie Gilbert.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 4th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue. Burial will follow in Old Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
