Debbie Stewart Brigman

Debbie Stewart Brigman, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on July 24, 1950, in Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of the late William Allen and Ruth Palmer Stewart and spent her formative years in Memphis.

Debbie dedicated much of her life to serving others as a devoted employee of the Internal Revenue Service. Her career as a tax auditor spanned many years before she retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

Those fortunate enough to know Debbie understood her remarkable qualities. She was strong-willed and independent, yet also possessed a heart overflowing with generosity and thoughtfulness. In every aspect of her life, she championed those who needed support - truly a cheerleader for the underdog. Debbie approached life with a playful spirit and an unwavering love for all it had to offer.

Beyond her immediate circle, Debbie's compassion extended far and wide. She believed in helping everyone she crossed paths with, opening her home to those in need of shelter or simply seeking a trusted friend.

But above all else, Debbie found true joy in her family. Spending time with her children and grandchildren always brought a smile to her face and heart.

On January 15, 2024, in Corinth, Mississippi, Debbie Stewart Brigman peacefully departed this world at the age of 73 Years, 5 Months, and 22 Days. She is survived by her daughter, Jackee Brigman Bell and husband Gene of Indianapolis, IN; son, Zak Brigman and wife Sadie of Bartlett, TN; grandchildren, Brooke Bell, Brigman Bell, Josh Brigman, Shayla Brigman, and Waylon Brigman; three sisters, Peggy Davidson and husband Charles, Dixie Smith, Billee Lambe and husband Bobby; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who were blessed to have known her.

Per Debbie's wishes there will be no public service.
