Luray: Dean Stansell Frye, passed away October 29, 2008 at her home.
She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Brodie R. and Bessie Lee Clayton Stansell. She attended schools in Chester County. She worked in the garment industry and had worked at Chester County Sportswear for over 30 years, having worked as a supervisor there. Later she worked as a manager of the Dollar General Store in Henderson until she retired in 2006.
She is survived by two sons: Terry Frye (Shirley) of Jacks Creek and Troy Frye (Amy) of Henderson, three daughters: Judy Taylor (Anthony), Phyllis Fortune (Johnny), Denise Kinchen (Scotty) all of Henderson, two brothers: Robert Stansell of New Mexico and Ricky Stansell of Memphis, two sisters: Thelma McClure of Jackson and Christine Langford of Henderson. Mrs. Frye has thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She aslo leaves a special friend Jack McCuan of Brownsville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Wayne Stansell and James Franklin Stansell and a sister Kathryn Ward and one granddaughter Jennifer Frye.
