was born on March 3, 1925, in Central Heights, Alabama to Willie D. and Ola D. Hodges Morris, who preceded her in death.
She married James Riley Combs on July 4, 1942, and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2004.
Mrs. Dean retired as an inspector from Angelica and was a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved flower gardening and loved her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Dean left this life on January 9, 2013 at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 6 days.
She is survived by two sons, Don Combs and his wife, Jean of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Gary Combs and his wife, Sandra of Savannah, Tennessee.
Five grandchildren, Chris Combs and his wife, Skeeter, Craig Combs and his wife, Naomi, Christy Dickson and her husband, Jody, Sam Bible and his wife, Wendy and Maggie Lomax and her husband, David, and ten great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, are three brothers, Raymond Morris, Reeder Morris and Doyle Morris and one sister, Marie Daniels.
