DAVID ARTHUR (RED) WHITE
was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 24, 1955 the son of Kathleen Paulk Logue White and the late Arthur Luther White.
Mr. White was a carpenter for American Food Service. He previously attended church at Eureka Methodist and Southside Baptist. Mr. White worked for 8 years as a deck hand on tow boats and also worked for Williams Cabinet Shop and Wolfe Sales. He was a former resident of Plymouth, Michigan where he first attended school, became a boy scout and learned to play drums in the school band. Mr. White was a member of the North American Fishing Club and the National Home Gardening Club. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and NASCAR.
Mr. White was formerly married to Wanda Sue Bowen, his high school sweetheart and the mother of his children.
He departed this life on October 19, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 25 days.
Mr. White is survived by his children, Christie Kay White Davidson of Savannah, Tennessee, April Lee White of Adamsville, Tennessee, Jason David White of Central, Alabama, David Ryan Blaida of Boulder, Colorado and Christi Blaida Duncan of Selmer, Tennessee.
