David Mike “Red†Terry
was born in the Childer’s Hill Community of Hardin County, Tennessee on June 1, 1953 the son of Edna Earl Howard Terry and the late Jim Clarence Terry.
Mr. Terry worked with Tennessee Business Enterprises and attended Center Hill Baptist Church.
He departed this life on March 16, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 52 years, 9 months and 15 days.
Mr. Terry is survived by
3 daughters: Miranda Cole, Jana Brooke Strange and Brandi Terry, all of Knoxville, Tennessee; 3 sons: Marshall Terry of Knoxville, Tennessee, David Paul Terry and Jim Richard Terry, both of Counce, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren: Dylan Jones, Jessie Cole, Sarah-Noel Cole, Zachary Cole, Aayliah Collins and Mariah Collins; his mother, Edna Earl Howard Terry Turnbow and step-father, Joe Neal Turnbow; 3 sisters: Edna Sue Spencer of Olive Hill, Tennessee, Joyce Faye Clausel of Adamsville, Tennessee and Sandra Kay Roberts of Savannah, Tennessee and one brother, Jerry Terry of Burnt Church, Tennessee.
In addition to his father, Jim Clarence Terry, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: J.C. Terry, Bobby Joe Terry and Thomas Earl “Bo†Terry, his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Elizabeth Howard, his paternal grandparents, David and Callie Terry and a niece, Emily Grace Jackson.
