David Belford Sprague was born at Camp Blanding, FL. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anita, Sister, Diane, brother Andrew (Lora), 2 sons, Mark (Agata) and Matt (Becky), 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, John, and his mother, Mary. Dave graduated from Wayne Central High School, Ontario, NY, in 1963, and Alfred Ag and Tech in 1966. Dave’s mom taught him to play the guitar. He played upright bass in high school and switched to electric bass from the garage band, Imperials, leading worship in churches, through to Jammers in our winter home in FL. He particularly enjoyed jam sessions with Andy and Matt. His employers were R.T. French, Rochester Telephone, and Xerox. Dave’s uncle fostered his interest in amateur radio. Dave connected with people all over the world, starting in High School and continuing through his adult life. After retirement, Dave and Anita traveled throughout the states, visiting many National Parks, museums, and historical sites, enjoying the beautiful variety of God’s creation. Dave will be greatly missed. God blessed us and we know he’s dancing with Jesus now.
