DAVID SHY
was born in Hannibal, Missouri on February 22, 1945 the son of the late Albert D. and Greta Messick Shy.
On November 25, 1994 he was united in marriage to Judy Rowland, who survives.
Mr. Shy retired from Clayton Mobile Homes of Savannah. He was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Shy lived in Hardin County for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Shy departed this life on July 15, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 23 days.
Other than his wife Judy of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Tara Shy of Flagstaff, Arizona.

2 grandchildren, Bret and Kayla and 6 step-grandchildren, Jacob, Nicki, Anderson, Jaron, Chase and Jada
6 sisters, Shirley Cummings of Holladay, Tennessee, Delores Harrison of Sante Fe, Missouri, Darlene Shy of New London, Missouri, Marilyn Berghager of Hannibal, Missouri, Donna Hickman of Bowling Green, Missouri and Debbie Lemon of Anniston, Alabama.
Other than his parents, Mr. Shy was also preceded in death by one son, John David Shy, 2 sisters, Jean Hulsey and Wanda Leake and 2 brothers, John E. Shy and Larry F. Shy.
