David Eugene Phillips

David Eugene Phillips was born on March 10, 1956 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late William Egbert and Mabel Jewel Hamilton Phillips.

David worked for Frank Carroll Sod Farm for 40 years and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. He also visited other churches that were having special events. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and flowers. David loved his dogs and taking care of dogs.

David Eugene Phillips departed this life on August 14, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 66 years, 5 months, and 4 days.

He is survived by his sister, Wanda Stricklin and her husband Mark of Counce, Tennessee; brother, James L. Phillips of Counce, Tennessee; nieces, Jennifer Driskell and Jessica Milender and her husband Josh, all of Counce, Tennessee; great niece, Madison Kate Driskell; and great nephews, Jacob Driskell, Bryson Milender, and Hayden Milender.
