David Nelson Nerren, 56, of Hornsby, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home.
A machine operator with Harman Automotive for over 24 years, he was born March 19, 1949 in Madison County, Tenn., son of the late Luther and Mary Lou Eaves and lived here most of his life. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict as a firefighter on the John F. Kennedy.
Services were 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Bolivar with Orville McMahan and Ed Howell officiating. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by one daughter and her husband, Amanda Nerren & Michael of Bethel Springs; one son and his wife, Glen Nerren & Melissa of Bolivar; three sisters, Georgia Mooney of Ripley, Tenn., Billie Humphrey of Gadsen, Tenn. and Ann Taylor of Jackson, Tenn.; three brothers, Bobby Eaves of Buna, Tex., Steve Eaves of Jackson, Tenn., William Nerren of Hot Springs, Ark. and five grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Jordan, Riley and Nick. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Clara Nerren and Luther & Mary Lou Eaves.
