David Lynn Markle, 41, of Hickory Valley, died Monday morning, July 23, 2007 at Methodist University Hospital.
The son of Sadie Powers Davis of Hickory Valley and Vernon Markle, Sr. of Somerville, he was a manager with Cingular Wireless. Mr. Markle was born December 20, 1965 in Somerville and was a graduate of University of Tennessee at Martin. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents and step-mother, Hazel Markle, he is survived by two brothers, Ray Markle of Hickory Valley, Ronald Markle and his wife, Sclena of Somerville; niece and nephew, Jessica and Payton Markle, both of Somerville; three step-sisters, Elizabeth Hutcheson of Memphis, Deborah Lambert of Florida and Balinda Cavanaugh of Bolivar and a step-brother, Bobby Joe Davis of Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Lavert Davis.
