David Holland

David Hollandwas born in McNairy County, Tennessee on September 22, 1935 the son of the Eber Columbus and Gracie Ursula Plunk Holland.On March 9, 1957 he was united in marriage to Joye Johnson, who survives.Mr. Holland had worked for Brown Shoe, Chrysler and most recently Angelica as a Regional Industrial Engineer. He enjoyed camping, traveling, woodworking, and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had served in the Air Force National Guard.Mr. Holland departed this life on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the age of 75 years, 9 months, 25 days.He is survived by his wife, Joye Johnson Holland; 2 daughters, Angie Austin and husband Frank of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Aleesa Holland of Nashville, Tennessee; 2 sons, Jeff Holland and wife Claudia of Savannah, Tennessee, Lee Holland of Weatherford, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Tony Couch, Chris Couch, Candace Austin Phillips, and Noah Holland; 4 great grandchildren, Benjamin Couch, Savannah Couch, Gianna Couch, and Evie Phillips; 3 brothers, Perry Holland of Savannah, Tennessee, Melvin Holland of Henderson, Tennessee and Cleo Holland of Jackson, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Loyce, Carlous, Leslie, Elmo, and Charles Holland; a sister, Maggie Holland.
