David Dodd

David Dodd of Collinwood, TN was born November 14, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Betty Elizabeth Daniel and the late Daniel Dodd. Mr. Dodd had worked in the lumber industry and was a U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. Dodd departed this life on Monday, January 10, 2011 at his home in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 55 Years, 1 Month, 27 Days.He is survived by his mother, Betty Dodd of Iron City, TN; two brothers, Danny Dodd of Iron City, TN and Tom Dodd of Vancouver, Canada; two sisters, Betty Jean Horton of Collinwood, TN and Janice Thompson of Iron City, TN; nieces and nephews.Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with James T. Turnbow officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, Tennessee and Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Jamie Dodd, Jason Dodd, Phil Horton, Steven Thompson, Stanley Bailey, and Austin Bailey.Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
