David Lynn Cole

David Lynn Cole was born October 21, 1941 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Guilford Taylor and Mary Lou Daniels Cole. He was united in marriage to Joyce Marie Morgan on December 19, 1983.Mr. Cole was a retired supervisor with Angelica Corporation and was a member of the Topsy Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee.Mr. Cole departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 4 Months, 12 Days.Services will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Ronnie Pope officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemtery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie Morgan Cole of Waynesboro, TN; a step-daughter, Mary Jo Creecy and husband, Alvin of Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harold Cole and Robert Cole both of Waynesboro, TN, Jasper Cole of Mesa, AZ; three sisters, Louise Brondon of Pender, NE, Marie Rovere of Florence, AL, Doris Klingahoist of Sacramento, CA; several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Mr. Cole was preceded in death by a brother, James Cole.
