Private Memorial Services for David Carroll, age 71, of Mt. Pleasant, MS, will be held at a later date. Mr. Carroll departed this life Friday, May 11, 2018 at Baptist Hospital DeSoto in Southaven.
He was born in Corinth, MS to the late James Henry Carroll, Sr. and Kate Oberia Weatherington Carroll. Mr. Carroll grew up in Memphis and lived there several years before moving to Hardeman County in 1989. In 2007, he moved to Mt. Pleasant, MS near Carrier where he worked until retirement in 2015. In his leisure time, he enjoyed working with and repairing scroll saws.
He leaves behind his wife of over 30 years, Brenda Carroll of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter, Christie (Ray) Lariviere of Olive Branch, MS; his son, Vince (Darlene) Carroll of Bolivar; step-daughter, Missy (Tony Wahlen) West of Richmond, IN; step-son, Kevin (Kelly) West of Milton, IN; his brother, Jimmy (Karen) Carroll of Casey, MS; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
