David Wynn Bucklin

David Wynn Bucklin was born on June 22, 1944 in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, the son of the late Leonard Wright and Priscilla Joyce Hutchins Bucklin.

On August 18, 1973, he was united in marriage to Sue Bergsieker, who survives.

Mr. Bucklin honorably served his country in the United States Army from September 26, 1967 until September 25, 1973. He earned his bachelor's degree from Lake Erie College and would go on to work for Caterpillar as a master black belt. David enjoyed traveling, reading, photography, sailing, trains, and watching westerns. He loved his family and his dog, Barrie.

David Wynn Bucklin departed this life on March 3, 2025 in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 80 years, 8 months, and 9 days.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue Bucklin of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Chris Bucklin of Houston, Texas and David W. Bucklin, II (Kathy) of Crossville, Tennessee; daughter in law, Peggy Bucklin of Buckhannon, West Virginia; brother, Peter C. Bucklin (Shar) of Fishers, Indiana; sisters, Susan Bucklin Lincoln and Karen Bucklin Lyman, both of Sanford, Maine; grandchildren, David W. Bucklin, III and Josh Holtschneider; and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Bucklin.
